Closing the Achievement Gap
Access to engaging learning opportunities and activities for ALL children
Today, more than ever, child development research shows that when children have new, positive experiences on a continual basis, they thrive. The more new, engaging experiences, the more learning occurs. And, in turn, increased achievement happens. The more children realize just how capable and important they are, and the more they realize that their input in society is crucial to the well-being of our community and environment, the better they do. Our goal is to give all children and families from an array of backgrounds, a multitude of opportunities to engage meaningfully with the world around them, and to grow and thrive because of strong, open access to quality programs and activity. The engagement of children in beneficial, fun, enriching activities with their families is what will change the world for the better.
